É Solo Un Trucco was originally the title of my blog. The quote, which means “it’s only a trick” in Italian, is from my favorite movie, Le Grande Bellezza by Paolo Sorrentino. The film follows Jep Gambardella, a Roman journalist and party boy, as he confronts the passage of time on his 65th birthday. In the film - "it's only a trick" refers to many things - life, beauty, and in some cases meaningfulness itself.

I am learning to focus on and enjoy being in the present. It has taken me awhile to come to that understanding.
